this cat is me.it’s not animal abuse, it actually feels very good for the cat, he is scratching the spot right before his tail and it triggers something called the lick reflex, it’s like how dogs scratch with their leg if you scratch their butt.
if it really hurt them they would have fled or bite you or at least hissed, this cat doesn’t do any of those things
If it was something that would hurt the cat, I wouldn’t find it so funny XD One of my cats sometimes does the lick reflex, she’s not as noisy, but it’s funny. When I scratch the other two there they just look at me like “WTF are you doing?” One of the cats at my Moms’ is more susceptible to making the licky face, so she’s even more hilarious. That cat also likes to be spanked.
